I was using an earlier version of Checkra1n but it suddenly started crashing when starting on Mac Monterey 12.1.

I’ve been trying to re-jailbreak my phone with checkra1n, but I keep getting either the USB error (Error -63), (Error 78), or (Error 79) every time I try. I just upgraded my iOS from 15.3.1 to 15.4 with FutureRestoreGUI.

I’ll admit I missed a couple of steps, but the phone works just fine. I couldn’t figure out how to set it once, so I just skipped it. I was not jailbroken when I upgraded. My jailbreak was deactivat while I was sleeping. I only upgraded to fix some issues I was having.

I’ve tried several different methods to try and get Checkra1n iOS 15.4 Jailbreak to install, from several different video tutorials.

Did not changing the nonce set me up for failure? Does anybody have a clue if its not that? I’ve tried several different cords and nothing has worked. Tried both ports on my laptop and nothing.

upgrade from bootra1n, it’s obsolete. try checkn1x, also as it’s an iPhone 8 (A11 Chip) running iOS 15.4 you will need to enable “Skip A11 BPR check” in settings and also enable “Allow unrest versions” and disable the passcode on your iPhone. not setting your nonce should have broken anything, if the restore was complete successfully you should be fine.
