Uncover iOS 12.2.1 Jailbreak Update Brings Re-Jailbreak

Apple Adds Better Cross-Site Tracking Prevention in iOS 12.2.1 Beta and Safari 12.2.2, This is EXACTLY what’s going on for me. First, unc0ver iOS 12.2.1 jailbreak didn’t work, then I did a full Electra uninstall and could usually get it to work after the first or second try max. It started to become more and more likely it would work the first time. Now after it revoked I’ve been trying for an hour. Probably rebooted 50 times.

The new iOS 12.2.1 To iOS 12.2.2 jailbreak for all devices is now available to download! That’s right, after months of waiting for a new jailbreak iOS 12.2.1, it’s now possible to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad running iOS 12.2.1! In addition to being able to download Unc0ver for iOS 12.1.2 and lower, this tutorial will guide you through the steps to jailbreak iOS 12.2.1 successfully.

[Discussion] UnCover iOS 12.2.1 jailbreak problems? Stick to Electra?

A new option found in the latest iOS 12.2.1 beta under Settings > Siri & Search, the “Find Interests in Other Apps” feature grants Siri access to user actions involving Safari and third-party apps. Too early to say whether battery and performance are actually improved IMO. But the latest release that I used (RC6) worked very well and took three tries to iOS 12.2.1 jailbreak using the MP exploit.

Note: A7, A8, and A12 devices are not currently supported with the first beta release of unc0ver. This includes the following:

iPhone XS Max, XS, XR, 6 Plus, 6, and iPhone 5S
iPad Air 1st-gen
iPod Touch 6th-gen
iPad Pro 2018
Support for A7, A8, and A12 is expected to come soon. Stay tuned (bookmark this page for updates).

Apple released a third iOS 12.2.1 beta to developers on Tuesday with user interface tweaks and bug fixes, including a patch for a GroupFace Time flaw that restricted some users from adding a third party to a call in progress. To me, this was meant for people who had too many issues in Electra jailbreak. If Electra is treating you well right now, don’t switch. At least wait until all the kinks are worked out with unc0ver iOS 12.2.1 jailbreak till you make the switch.

The following devices are compatible with the Unc0ver Jailbreak running all firmware from iOS 12.2.1 through iOS 12.2.2:

iPhone X, 8 Pus, 8, 7 Plus, 7, SE, 6S Plus, and 6S
iPad Air 2, and 5th-gen iPad
iPad Mini 4, 3, and 2
iPad Pro: all models, but 2018

I think a lot of people say that some tweaks don’t work on unc0ver is because they rely on Electra tools that unc0ver iOS 12.2.1 jailbreak don’t have. Haven’t really had a problem with old tweaks personally. I cannot tell for you though. A list of your tweak list would be helpful. So I am also on iPhone X running iOS 12.2.1. Personally, I didn’t have any problems with Electra either. But decided to use unc0ver to test it out. So far no crashes or resprings. Cydia is a lot faster and unc0ver feels more fluid IMO.
